Information We Collect Automatically

  • Usage Data: When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with our site. This includes your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, the time and date, and how long you spend on each page. This helps us understand our most popular content and how we can improve our website.

  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: Like many websites, we use “cookies” and similar technologies. Cookies are small data files placed on your device. They help us remember your preferences, track your visits, and understand how you use our site. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to let you know when a cookie is sent. However, if you don’t accept cookies, some parts of our website might not work as well for you.

  • For Analytics and Research: We analyse trends and gather demographic information to better understand our audience and improve our services. This data is usually aggregated and anonymised, meaning it doesn’t identify you personally.

  • To Prevent Fraud and Enhance Security: We use certain information to detect and prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities, and to ensure the security of our website and our users.

How We Share Your Information

We are very careful about sharing your personal information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. However, there are a few specific situations where we might share some data:

  • Service Providers: We may share your information with trusted third-party companies and individuals who help us operate our website and provide our services. These “service providers” might help with website hosting, data analysis, email delivery, or marketing assistance. They are only allowed to use your information to perform these tasks for us and must keep it confidential.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if we are legally required to do so, such as in response to a court order, subpoena, or other governmental request. We may also share information to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.

  • Business Transfers: If Amplify Creative LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

  • With Your Consent: We may share your information with your explicit consent or at your direction.

Pinterest Integration: Sailings Home Autopilot

This section explains how Amplify Creative LLC handles information in Sailings Home Autopilot, our internal content publishing and reporting tool. The current integration serves sailings.site. Additional brand workspaces are under development and are not represented as connected services until separately authorized.

Authorization and information accessed

Account connections use Pinterest’s OAuth authorization process. The account owner signs in on Pinterest and grants the requested permissions. We do not request or collect Pinterest passwords or browser session cookies. Depending on the permissions granted, the tool accesses the account identity and username, boards and their identifiers, Pin content and identifiers, and available account and Pin metrics such as impressions, saves and clicks. OAuth access and refresh tokens allow authorized API requests.

How Pinterest information is used

We use this information to identify the connected account, select relevant boards, create and schedule Pins linking to our own website content, maintain publishing queues, and display private operational and performance reports. Publishing sends the selected image, title, description, destination link and board information to Pinterest. Content is subject to the selected approval workflow. We do not use the integration to automate likes, follows or comments, collect Pinterest passwords, or sell Pinterest information.

Storage and access

In the current GitHub-based integration, credentials are configured through GitHub Actions secrets. Publishing state, content queues, Pin history and operational logs are stored in the project repository; private reports and uploaded media are also stored in WordPress. Telegram receives draft previews, approval messages and operational reports. Only authorized operators should have access to the repository, site administration, bot and related infrastructure. The optional local Studio is under development; channel credentials, when configured, are stored separately in local files excluded from version control, rather than in a hosted encrypted vault. OAuth tokens must not be placed in public pages, Pin descriptions or project source code.

Service providers

Operating the integration involves Pinterest, GitHub, our WordPress hosting provider and Telegram for the functions described above. These providers process relevant information under their own terms and privacy policies. Website content and images may be obtained or prepared using separate content providers; Pinterest OAuth tokens are not needed for those content-generation tasks. We do not sell connected account information or use it to build an unrelated marketing list.

Retention, disconnection and deletion

Working records are retained while needed for publishing, reporting, troubleshooting and security. Removing a connection does not automatically erase previously published Pins, website content or historical records. Git history, WordPress revisions and provider backups may retain older copies; these are not automatically purged by the current tool. Recovery artifacts from the current GitHub workflow are configured to expire after 14 days.

You can revoke the app’s access in your Pinterest account settings. Revocation prevents further authorized requests with the revoked connection but does not delete Pins already published. To request disconnection, access to information, or deletion of stored connected-account data, email contact@amplifycreativellc.com and identify the affected Pinterest username. Do not email passwords or tokens. After verifying the request, we will remove the applicable credentials and working records under our control, and review any retained history, backups or legally required records. We will explain any retention limitations. Information retained by Pinterest and other providers is also governed by their policies.

Requests are handled by the operator; the current tool does not provide an automatic account-deletion portal. Separate accounts require separate authorizations. The app is not endorsed by Pinterest, and this policy does not imply that Pinterest has approved an access-tier upgrade.

Your Choices and Rights

You have certain rights regarding your personal information. We want to make sure you understand them and how to exercise them:

  • Accessing and Updating Your Information: If you have left comments on our site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you provided. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

  • Opting Out of Communications: If you receive our newsletter and no longer wish to, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email.

  • Cookie Preferences: As mentioned earlier, most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can choose to accept or reject cookies. Please remember that disabling cookies might affect the functionality of our website.

Data Security

We take the security of your information very seriously. We use various technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our website may contain links to other websites that we do not operate. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
